|| Verse 1 || Worship the lotus-eyed, lotus-faced, and lotus-feet Lord, The beautiful one from the lineage of Janaka, Who enchants the mind and is resplendent. He dispels the terrors of material existence.
|| Verse 2 || Worship the friend of the distressed, the Lord of the day (Sun), The destroyer of demons and their lineage, The joy of the Raghu dynasty, the son of Dasharatha.
|| Verse 3 || Wearing a crown, earrings, and a charming tilaka, Adorned with beautiful and expansive ornaments, With shoulders like the trunks of elephants, Holding a bow and arrow, victorious in battle against Khara and Dushana.
|| Verse 4 || Thus speaks Tulasi Das, the servant of Lord Shankara, The delight of the mind of the venerable sage Shesha. Reside in the lotus of my heart, O Lord, Destroyer of the miseries caused by desires and other vices.
